year’s IDAHO magazine Recipe Contest is held in cooperation with
the Idaho State Department of Agriculture. At
least one ingredient in each recipe must be an Idaho Preferred™
product. Please visit the link below for a nearly limitless
list of local products.

Rod
Jessick, executive chef at the five-star Coeur d’Alene
Resort, and a group of top Idaho chefs will judge the entries.
We’re awarding cold, hard cash plus an assortment of top-notch
kitchen tools to the winning entrants.

Prizes!
Overall
grand prize for the best recipe (from any category) is $100 plus
$150 in kitchen tools. Category winners each will receive
$50 cash and $50 in kitchen tools. Plaques and
certificates also will be presented.
Entry
Fees
Subscriber:
$10 for the first recipe and $5 for additional entries
Nonsubscribers:
$10 per entry
Ultimately,
everybody wins, as a selection of the winning recipes will be
published in future issues of IDAHO
magazine.
Categories
include entrées, desserts, and a “general” category for
breads, salads, or whatever else strikes your fancy. You may enter
more than one recipe.
