About Charles R. Peterson

Charles R. “Chuck” Peterson is an emeritus professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at Idaho State University and the Affiliate Curator of Herpetology for the Idaho Museum of Natural History. He studies the ecology and conservation of amphibians and reptiles. His students and he began the Idaho Amphibian and Reptile iNaturalist Project in 2016. Chuck also is an avid nature photographer.
