6/30-8/1  Free meals: WEEKDAYS. Provided to children ages 1 through 18. Meals will be provided to all children, ages 1-18, without charge by the Ada County Boys & Girls Club. Children do not need to be a member of the Boys & Girls Club. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program and are the same for all youth.  Locations and hours:

        Garden City: Moseley Center, 610 E 42nd Street Breakfast: 8:30 – 9 AM; Supper:
3:30 – 4:30 PM. Garden City: Riverfront Park: 508 E. 42 nd Street, Lunch: 11:30 AM – 1 PM.

1     Kilroy Coffee Klatch: Meets at 10 AM the first Tuesday of every month and is FREE to any and all veterans!  Coffee and breakfast treats.  The general public is welcome, but admission rates do apply. Warhawk Air Museum, Nampa

2-11     Summer Reading Art Contest: Use a variety of art media to create your own representation of this year’s summer reading theme “Color Our World”. Art will be on display and prizes awarded to the winner in each age category: Preschool; 5-8; 9-12; Teens; Adults.  Entry forms and submissions at the 1st Floor Information Desk.  Entry deadline: July 11.  Public Library, Nampa

4     Fireworks: Brothers Park, Caldwell

4     4th of July Celebration featuring fireworks and a mini-food truck rally at the greenbelt. Kuna

4     “Olde Tyme” 4th of July: This celebration begins with a Fun Run in the morning and a parade that begins at 10:30 AM.  Many other events will take place throughout the day, and we wrap it all up with an incredible fireworks display at dusk. Melba

5     “Bring ‘em Out” Car and Truck Show: The location for this new event is plenty big for anyone and everything, and everyone is welcome.   Awards for all categories will be announced and presented.
