1-29     Spotted Fawns: MONDAYS. This free upbeat, fun group is a great fit for children ages 0-3. We’ll be exploring nature, playing with puppets, dancing scarves, and egg shakers, reading books, making music, and more. 10:30-11:30 AM at the Palouse Nature Center, 1040 Rodeo Dr., Moscow

1-29     Scribbler’s Society Writing Club: MONDAYS. Discuss writing, share your work, get inspiration from other writers. All ages welcome. 2 – 3 PM, Public Library, Coeur d’Alene

13   Star Party: This free monthly event takes place at the CSI Centennial Observatory (Weather Permitting). Observers will see a waxing crescent (19%) moon, double stars, and star clusters. 9 -11 PM, Centennial Observatory, CSI Campus, Twin Falls

17-21   “Big River”: This large-scale musical is presented by the CSI Theater and Music programs. Twin Falls

Central Idaho

1     Knit Together: Bring your own needles and yarn, and join master knitter Patricia Lirk for a free bi-monthly gathering by the fireplace. Drop-in. All skill levels welcome. 6 PM, Community Library, Ketchum
