About Carolyn Fletcher

Carolyn Fletcher became interested in photography more than ten years ago in Peru, when she visited an interior village in the Amazon River basin. At the time, she had a small point-and-shoot camera, but she found the images mesmerizing. Carolyn says photographs surprise us, reveal great beauty, tell stories, convey humor, capture memories. She believes her camera opens personal opportunities to see and experience life with far more focus, intensity, and appreciation.
